Dr. Rashmi Kamran Bhatia

Chief Scientist

Dr. Rashmi Kamran serves as the Chief Scientist at AdCore Local LLC in Atlanta, USA, and concurrently as the Senior Technical Advisor at Free Stream Technologies. She spent six years at IIT Bombay advancing research and standardization in Wireless Broadcasting and Cellular Systems, with a particular focus on architectural innovations for beyond 5G and 6G technologies. Her doctoral work at IIT Bombay established her expertise in high‑speed optical coherent communication systems. With more than a decade of experience as a faculty member in leading engineering institutions, she has authored and co‑authored numerous publications in esteemed international journals and conferences. She has made notable contributions to global standards organizations, including 3GPP, IEEE, ITU, and TSDSI. Her impact has been recognized through prestigious honors such as the TSDSI Outstanding Technical Contributions Award (FY 2023–24) and her inclusion among the “100 Brilliant and Inspiring Women in 6G” for three consecutive years (2024–26) by Women in 6G™. She currently serves as Co‑Chair of NWG 13 and Associate Rapporteur for Q2 in ITU‑T SG13. At AdCore Local, she leads solution development and proof‑of‑concept initiatives for B2X technology and its convergence with mobile networks in collaboration with multiple stake holder companies, while also spearheading global standardization efforts across SDOs.
